There was a thread a while ago about how to get those springy shower tents back into their bag. I remember it was a very funny.Well I learnt how to do it then, but now I need reminding again as we hadn't used it for 6 months and again it came home as a flat pack on top of camper. Did a search came up empty. One person explained it perfectly and made it a breeze back then.
Thanks

Main thing is to throw away the original instructions.

When its flat, stand on the bottom of the tent, grab the top, pull it down so that the middle pushes away from you. It should move away evenly - if one side doesn't want to go, it means the springy stuff is twisted, and it won't fold up.

If its pushed away evenly, then bring the top down to the bottom and hold them together with your left hand. With your right hand, grab the right hand side of the bottom and twist it clockwise and into the centre of the tent. At the same time, the left hand side will fold in. And its all done.................hopefully :-)))

I've got two if these that are near impossible normally - until a young guy in a camping shop showed me this method.

Hello Dazza, well at least you had some success 6 months ago!! my wife & I bought one & can't work it out, We went back to the camping place where we bought it about two weeks ago to get a staff member to give us a demo. No problem says she. Half hour & little bit of swearing later she had to admit defeat. She undertook to contact the supplier & have their rep. teach her & other staff members the method. We are due to make a return visit in the near future to see if we can get a demo.

In the meantime we will try by following Phill's response to your enquiry!! Thanks

I found it no problem at all, took about 5 minutes to learn , now about 10 seconds to fold up. Ya listening ??. HEY LISTEN UP.
While tent is standing fold sides in.
You should have a flat panel shaped bit like a big surf board.
Still with "panel" standing put your right foot on the bottom about center.
Cross your arms and hold top of "panel" left hand holds R/Top & right hand holds L/top.
NOW, as you pull your left hand towards you and to the left of your body the right hand is moved away and across towards the right of your body. In other words you are twisting the top of the tent "panel" in a clockwise direction. AT THE SAME TIME as twisting, push both hands down towards your foot that is holding the bottom stationary.
You will now be bending over and have the frame in crossed over circles or loops or rings, and it is only a matter of holding all rings and evening them up to about the same size, tuck any bits of tent in .
place in bag.
...... FINISHED .......
Please don`t think I am shouting using capitals, just that these bits are important to get right.
Good luck,
Scrubcat.

P.S. If you still can`t do it , don`t burn it, I will give you $10.. for it. LOL...
