Hi All
I have a 2000 nissan patrol 4.2 T/D and the manifold glowplug (think thats what it is) is not working, the wires are frayed where they go into the glowplug and looks as though it has shorted out at some stage & the prev owner has unplugged it. Should I get a new one (quoted $200 thru nissan) or leave it as it is, the vehicle does miss a bit when started until I get 200m down the road. Could this be why? I have had the injectors done recently.
Does anyone know of an aftermarket glowplug for this or am I forced to go genuine or is it even woth replacing?
Thanks
Charli

Do you live in the snow???
If not dont worry about it,just make sure your glow plugs are in good order and dont think about it again as it will make no difference to your engine in this country.
