We are heading up to Mt Skene[ Jamieson area] or thereabouts next weekend for a bit of 4wd fun in the snow. Does anyone know if there is still any snow up there, or where else we can get 4wd access to some nice snowy tracks? Any reliable advice would be appreciated. Chris.

You might be lucky this weekend as there were light snowfalls yesterday at Mt Baw Baw.

Chris the snow is receding quicker than a rat up a drainpipe. With sunny days forecast all week there will be zero snow on Skene this weekend however the long range forecast for the following week is saying possible rain & snow on at least four days for the high country. There will be no snowy tracks anywhere in Vic this weekend that are open.
