Hi All,
I'm a member of VKS and find them great to talk to when were away.
I have heard that there are other networks you can join as
well. Does anyone know of other networks? and have any good / bad stories related to them?
Rgds

HF Radio Club is also a great organization. Not to expensive to join and a great bunch of people. Bases covering all of Australia with skeds daily. Also access to Bush Telegraph (phone network) at no extra costs.

Yes- there are other HF networks...
The
HF Radio Club- mainly aimed at the CMCA -Campervan & Motor Home owners..
and The Bush Telegraph network ..
and a few 'private' type networks.
None, however have the coverage, bases, network, access to emergency backup, scheds. etc etc of the VKS737.
And- of course- the 'friendly' base operators...

I'm also an enthusiastic supporter of VKS too - great service.
But I also joined Bushphone for their great
HF radio Telephone service, and with that you get free
membership to Bush Telegraph. Heres the link:
