I'm only new to ozi explorer and still trying to find out how to set way points correctly .
( EG ) how do I set the right distance between way points , say from number one way point to number two a distance of say 2.36k/ms .
Im trying to do this while on my computer at my office desk , my system is a garmin receiver plugged into my laptop via a USB port
thanks
George

I think I know what you're trying to do George - if I'm not then forgive my intrusion,,,,,,
1. Click on "Options" in the top toolbar
2. From the dropdown menu, select "Project Waypoint". It's at the bottom of the list.
3. Make sure you have a waypoint list loaded as the next step will ask you to select from a previous, known waypoint
4. Having chosen the "from" waypoint, go through the drop down menus and select bearing, mag or true, distance, kms or
miles etc, etc
5. Hit the "project" button and
6, BINGO yer new, projected waypoint is now on the map and also in the waypoint list with a new number.
7. Edit the waypoint entry to suit yerself, with name and comments etc.
8. If this is what you were after, send cheque for $50.00 to me or email me for bank account details if you wish to do an EFT to my bank account.

Zuk,
I've found a few "biggish" ones in my time, but none of 'em were quite "big enough".
It's eggting hard to pick up big stuff these days. Plenty of birdshot stuff but very few big pieces.
Take care,

Bilbo,i was talking to my bro in law on sunday who is a mad hobby prospector, he was saying he has had a few rewards over the few years he has been doing the hobby, his biggest nugget was around the 3 & half ounces. He has been going over to west oz of late so it must be where it is & uses the detectors so half his luck i suppose.
Cheers Bob.
