Matt I wouldn't bother with the commercial mobs. Look in the Yellow Pages for metal fabricators or engineering shops they should be able to knock some up to your own speci.

Hi Matt,
check this link as it gives you all the information on making them.
You can pass it on to a metal fabricator if you need to.

Matt,

have you done a search of perth4x4.net?? Plenty of guys have made sliders themselves, and Im sure are more than willing to help you with designs and pictures etc. You could give it a go yourslef, or take the plan and idea to a fabricator to be made

Also, there is a shop called A Dirty 4x4 in malaga that might be worth a try.

Good luck

Matt,

I am doing the same - I need a set for my 80 Series but can't find any decent ones I want. A guy I know from another site is going to make a set for his 80 Series and said he would knock up a set for me (he can do it whilst on night shift at his work); however, he is on a 3 week trip to the Pilbara, so I have to wait and see hen he gets back.

I also have a brother in law who is a frabicator but he lives in Wanneroo - he is good at what he does but it takes a bit of effort to get him to do something.

Other than that I have a welder and a grinder so I might have to make my own set; however, being technically challenged this may be a bit of an issue :-))

If you want I can ask either of them if I get a set made.

Karl
