Anyone know the current condition of the Boulia - Birdsville Rd?

Mike, sounds like they must have tarred the Highway from B to B as ithought it would not change tooo much from when i was on it June 2006( Motor home) when it was tar in places & rocks,stone ,dust & bloody corro's, but we drove to the conditions & arrived safely & no mishaps.

Mike, Boulia to Bedourie is 200 klms - about 120 klms now tar.Bedourie to Birdsivlle is 179 klms - about 80 klms now tar. Good condition (particularly as Bedourie has racing this weekend) - the sandy parts of the road are very comfortable. Have a good trip - when do you expect to reach Birdsville, we may still be here.
