Thank you for all the help and suggestions. I've got enough info now to build one and all that is left to do is to weld it up. It's a combination of a lot of ideas and designs. Will advise its success or otherwise once I've tried it but will be overseas until early October so trial will be delayed.
The suggestions about getting in touch with the SSAA will be followed up as they have a shooting range about 25km down the road from the block.
Once again thank you for the assistance.

Geoff
I put a fair bit of time into this (along with others that I've spoken to) attempting to help you. Next time you ask for advice, be mindful that people do put a bit of effort into responding to a member post.
The issue your dealing with is complex and needs a fair bit of input from your side. If your not prepared to do that, the post was a waste of time.
I was going to meet up with a couple of fella's from a local Rifle Club to discuss your problem, but have cancelled that now.

Kim,
I'm quite curious here, how'd you arrive at the conclusion Geoff hasn't put "a fair bit of input from your side" and should effectively be written off?

| Geoff,
Grey hair is hereditary, you get it from children. Baldness is caused by watching the Wallabies.

Sorry if I caused any inconvenience. I've decided to try the trap first and if that doesn't work then all other methods will be tried. Our councils up here are tied up with the amalgamation fight and are obsessed with that. I only go up to the block occasionally and had the time to build the trap now (retirement is great).

Sorry about outburst.
I had a buggar of a day at work yesterday. After I read your post, I then had to ring the guys and tell them to turn around and go home. They weren't all that happy.
Good luck with your trapping.
Regards
Kim
