What does "This thread has been locked" mean ?

Whatever it means , I cannot seem to get access past Kevs post , to the details etc of the gathering . I keep being asked to log in and I am already .
Am i making a basic mistake here ?

Willie,

Go to the forum main page and run the cursor over the events icon. It should show the Days Birthdays and upcoming gatherings.
You should then be able to open the trip/gathering from there as well.

I tried to update the gathering to add info on cost of admission and parking etc but the system created another gathering for some reason, David has been informed :))

I also included the web site for those interest in fnding out which businesses were going.

Forgot to add that being "Locked" means that you can not reply to the created thread, it is a thread created as "for info" only

It means the thread has been locked. It's similar to the effect of locking a door - entry only for people with a key. Common on chat/discussion forums.
