Last year (July 2006) we did an extended trip through the outback. During our travels we came across some people from a desert discovery
camp a little to the southeast of Razorblade
Bore on the Kidson (WAPET) Track. We started a conversation with a couple of them (David & Margaret as far as I can remember) and would like to follow it up a bit further if we could. Does anyone know of any contact address - they were probably from
Alice Springs but some of the others were from all over the place.
We were doing the 80 Mile Beach to
Alice Springs trek at the time. We met them at Razorbalde
Bore on the Kidson and then again at Jupiter
Well east of the Canning. They had been following the Len Beadell Callawa Tk when we first met.

If it's David and Margaret Hewitt then the Internet is your friend - there's an article about them in the ARB 4X4 Action publication (Spring 2005).
It this isn't them then I've led you up the garden path
;-)

Yes - I've checked out further net info on them, such as their connections with rediscovering Beadell Tracks - and it adds up. The garden path is looking good!
Thank you.
