Friends I removed my original steering damper last night with the thought that the new one will just slide in....however in reading the instructions just now it's talking about making marks where the original one was and that's no good to me now since the other has already been removed and adjusted.

Can anyone give me a crash course in install this thing tonight?

I would think all you have to do is measure its stroke, divide by 2, and fit the mounts so that its in the middle with the wheels straight ahead.
Elementary my dear Watson.
