The car had a half tackle shop in it & behind that followed Camp/o/matic & a Real Ezy fold up trailer & a tinnie on top of ct. With the Bathurst Bay mud -Vrilya Beach soft sand & OTL track it was tested. The 3lt. hilux & trailers never broke down or leaked water. Dirty seals would sometimes let bit of dust in.The car was more at home going down hills than up them. I found the number of travellers & corrugations weren't as large as I expected.
Highlights were watching turtles lay eggs on beaches at nights. Catching & eating large yummy fish for 10wks. [But I found myself wanting to balance ball on my nose by the end of the trip]. Also doing Gun Shot without using any t-paper. When I head up there next time I would like a larger f/tank plus a few more horses under the bonnet. Maybe its red dust up there that makes people friendly & happy. cheers crocket.
