Anyone been to Radium
Hill?. Ive heard about it and would like to take a look, but can anyone tell me if access is possible and directions. A google search gives some very interesting info about the former town and a museum on a nearby station.
Thanks

Travelled the Power Line route in 1967 from
Morgan to Radium
Hill , I was in my 62 EK Holden and Dad was in a 63 EJ Holden, we should have had 4x4s but had a fun weekend, we parked the cars in the old Church
ruins for the night , I did have a couple of photo's in my Members Profile, I'll have a look and put them back again for a few days

It is not far from where I live. Have had the fullest intention of getting there but never seem to get that far. There is increased mining interest in the area again. There should be public access to the township either from McDonald
Hill or Cutana Railway Sidings. Must do it one day...lol
Cheers

Well, its not high on the MUST SEE list. I tend to save up for proper fella trips and not waste resources flitting around the local countryside....lol
