I think I understand the so-called law of supply and demand but I find the National 30 Day trend statistic on the Home Page illuminating. ULP fluctuates almost daily while diesel just sits steadily at 5-10 cents / litre dearer than ULP. I hope that the NRMA are including diesel price in their campaign against dodgy dealing on fuel prices.

The emphasis will undoubtedly be on the price of ULP as that impacts on the overwhelming majority of drivers.
Can't see it being a problem as diesel users are always telling us how efficient their rigs are, so they obviously go further on less at an overall lesser cost :)))

G'day Al,
Can't pass up a return dig at your toungue-in-cheek comment about diesel users - why should it cost more to be fuel efficient in this day and age?? and so opens another debate!
Regards
John

Worldwide demand for diesel fuel is increasing. The cost therefore is proportional to that amount produced by refineries compared to say UL fuel. What's it mean - it's all related to supply and demand. Marginal supply - great demand.
