Next winter I intend to increase my knowledge, and add to my been there done that list, of the Outback Overthere (OZ).
My intentions are to put an Innovan Camper on a Toyota V8.
Spend winters Outback and come home to NZ for the summer (when the hunting & fishing is great)
I would appreciate any comments on an Innovan Camper from owners or others that have relevant info.
Don't waste time on comments on the choice of of vehicle, it will not change the opinion of a person that has owned Landcruisers for 36 years.

Can't comment on the slide on, but recently spent a week on Fraser with the nephew of the inventor, he had the prototype trailer. Now while not fitted out with kitchens and things (all the doors and cavities were there) it was ceratainly a brilliant design, and the instant setup is truly fantastic.

I think the innovan is currently being set up in asia and will be coming here after that, the aussie makers could not earn enough to keep the business going.

Hi Russnic,

We take delivery of our Innovan (trailed version) next week. Have been to the factory in Bayswater several times during the order/construction process and have followed their work closely.

The concept is brilliant - minimal set up/pack up time, no wet canvas, strong but light, heaps of storage, quality fittings. All good.

Won't be able to give feedback till we've been out in it a couple of times, but they take great care with construction, and all components are excellent. Take what you see on the website, add a few improvements and you're pretty much there.

Would be happy to speak to you later if you like.

Cheers.

Thanks for that.
I have been intrigued with the website info for a while now and was lucky to be passing thru Toowoomba at the same time as the Outdoor Expo there, and had the chance to get a brief look at one. Brilliant concept, almost too good to be true, this is why I would like to get some feedback from owners, good or bad.
Nothing like some ks travelled and nights on the road to find any problems if there is any.
I don't think I will change my mind anyway!
Cheers
Russ
