I was just wondering , performance wise, i know both of these engines n/a are relatively slow, but which one is the better performer?

The cruiser has an extra 9kw and is and overhead cam motor verus OHV. THe 1hz also reponds to extractors and a sports exhaust
well.
If you are looking for a 2nd hand one I would just take the best vehicle at the best price

"performance" is non-existant in both, a "slow, asthmatic chug" would be a more accurate description, he heee.

Mechanically, the Patrol is way stronger. Much better geartbox, TC and diffs. The Patrol 4.2 is bullet-proof
However I'd still consider a LC in good nick at the right price.
Both donks need a turbo to get reasonable performance.
