I have a mega grunt compressor, I have had it about 3 years I think. Has never cut out on me when re-inflating my tyres (which doesn't take too long) and cost me $170 from a
camping show here in
Adelaide.
Cheers Luke

We use the ARB 24lt one, can't fault it yet.
The main reason we got this one was they are made in
Melbourne and you can get spare parts......and ARB told me they are the best you can buy. LOL

You'll find now that the new ARB unit pumps out at over 60l/minconstantly is heaps smaller and the same price.
your oldee does 27l/min.

Hi Stan,
I can vouch for the Yella Terra one, it works extremely
well, haven't tried it on my tyres yet but I reckon it'd be quicker than the Maxair :-)

Stan
I have a "Big Red" which has pumped up tyres and kids balloons and blown dust for 10 years now. Can get 4 4WD tyres up from 20 to 35 psi in maybe 20 minutes and the compressor does not need a rest.
I suspect that any in your price bracket will give value - I've never seen a whinge about this price range on the
forum.

Big W sell an exact copy of this Bushranger Compressor
http://www.bushranger.com.au/black_max_compressor.php for less than $80. I have had
mine now a couple of years and its great. Several of my mates have also bought them off Big W and none of us have had any problems. It even comes in the same bag with the same accessories.
Regards
Phil

I bought a 'new' ARB compressor last week and had it fitted to the engine bay. It does 75l/minute. I timed it with a stopwatch to get my 31"x10.5 MTR up from 14psi up to 34psi and it took 2 minutes and 10 seconds per tyre. It's reasonably quiet which is always a bonus.
cheers
