Hi all nothing to do with four wheel driving, but was out at Windsor (NSW) today watching the boat races and decided I need to change jobs and earn some real money, Maaaate how much money are these things worth, was talking to one bloke $300 grand for the motor alone and it lookes like it two, blower, nitro, together with twin turbo then it went bang on the second last run. $$$$ Only thing related to four wheel drives was the things towing these monsters, favourite seemed to be the F250's and they had just as much spent on them in the way of mags and stuff. MMMM might start looking in the paper I think. Regards Steve M

Sure puts an end to the rumours of a recession when you see some of the money spent on all sorts of hobbies/sports.

Yep, and another interest rate rise in November they reckon cause were spending too much. Most new cars sold this year ever so I heard. Must be still plenty of cash flowing around. Not my way anyway LOL. Have a good one. Regards Steve M

HI Axle, might be out of place on race days like today but tell you what you would get noticed and cost you a sh@t load less to be noticed LOL. Mate the amount of money spent on those machines is unbelievable. There was one bloke there with the big prime mover and trailer all in black with the name of his race team and boat written down the sides then had two boats nicely arranged inside with enough spare parts to build another bit like the touring cars I suppose. At the end of the day the landy and the tinnie will get you alot further
places then these race boats but hey I suppose they would just fly where they needed to go. Heard one bloke talking come from Queensland and his motor was playing up on fridays trial runs so he paid for his mechanic that built the engine to fly down here through the night to get the motor running properly for today. I wish I had that much to spare. Regards Steve M
