Have a 40ltr Engel that has died, I have a fair bit of nouse on most things and thought if there was some troubleshooting, technical info I might have a go at sorting the source of the problem, compressor is just not kicking in.
Thanks Ian

Ian,
Does it play-up on both 12v and 240v?
If so, I would say it'll be a technician's job.
If it works ok on 240v, but not on 12v, then I would suggest you need to check the cable and the 12 volt power source/wiring etc
Cheers

Could be many things. However, I agree with Roachie's comments above - check that first. Otherwise it's a series of tests to see where you have power and where you don't. By following the circuit from the lead, through to various components and to the compressor, you may be able to isolate the problem. You may also like to check the thermostat/on-off switch for continuity in the on position. Unfortunately, there are electronics in there which can make it rather tricky to fault find.
Please remember to be very careful, 240 volts can kill so try to limit testing to continuity where possible, otherwise switched on to 12 volt.
Good luck
Gerry
