Peter Beattie has resigned as Premier of Qld as of Thursday and from Parliament as of Friday. I wander if Kevin had a word in his ear hahahaha. He hopes his Deputy Anna Bligh will become Premier, god help as all, going from the pan into the fire.

My 2 bobs worth anyway.

Cheers Bruce.

I reckon he retired cause he does not want his head on the chopping block when they lose the next election.

I hope they hurry up and make it official that it is either happening or not, cause job hunting for local government ATM is a PITA.

And the opposition has hmmmmmmmmm WHAT to challange for the top job.

Not that I'm a Beattie supporter just saying I cannot see a person in the opposition to make a real challange.

thats exactly it Brian.. And they are all liars there for themselves.

No state has a good opposition! Think about it for a minute... Not even the country - i thought Rudd stood a chance until I read his brown tounge statement:

What I think she said "I am not going to change anything"...."yes I am" no I am not yes I am s..t and the best part "If my husband said if I am gettting bags under my eyes etc etc" she in not bagging her old bosses wife is she. hahahahha

As you all can see I am not a Labour supporter, MR. Little Johny has helped paid for our new (well maybe nearly) 4WB and caravan, no tax on super when we retire when we are over 60. And gee I hope Rudd is an another Keating interest rates 10 s..t 16% great for our retirement. Sorry all you young people with big mortgages, but we went through it back in the 80's with Paul.

Sorry and I hope it does go well for all.

Cheers Bruce
