Hi guys

Does anybody know how to start the removal of the dashboard covers in the 100 series TD Cruiser, or where I might be able to pick up some after market body manuals.

I just priced the OE Manuals from Toyota (body & mechanicals) at $700.00 bucks.

Thanks in advancePT

500 000 kms of corrugations should do it. ;-)

I have removed the centre panel (with the radio, heater, etc). Just work your fingers in between the top edge and the softer grey padded dash and you should feel the clips give way. There is one in the centre of the top edge which must be pulled down, but all of the others pull back towards the back of the car. After the clips are free, the whole centre section pulls off.

Paul,

A blast of compressed air up behind the dash should pop the lot off. Of course you could go buy a RangeRover, then the dash will come off as you drive it home from the dealer!
