Howdy all,
Just doing some routine spannering on the ol' girl, got the grease gun out and hit every nipple I find.
Not having access to a workshop manual and wanting to clean an repack the front wheel bearings, are there any tricks or traps I should be aware of once I start pulling the allen bolts out.
Many Thanks,
Lionel.

Not sure about the MQ/MK hubs, but the GQ needs a bloody great 52mm socket for the hub nuts once you get the freewheeling hubs off. I'd made one, but it was borrowed by a colleague about 7 years ago, and never seen since, otherwise I'd loan it.
Anyway, you can remove the allen bolts and remove the hub cover without upsetting anything so you can check.

Thanks Gerry,
Got all the gear, done dozens of bearing repacks and adjustments over the years but never on free wheel hubs.
Will attack them on the weekend.
Thanks again mate,
Lionel........
