I have just discovered after receiving my new maps in the post that they do not show the Yampire Gorge Road in Karajini anymore? Can anybody advise if this road/track can still be used? I travelled it a very long time ago and was hoping to take my family via that route to visit Wittenoom from karajini.

We went to Karajini in 2003 and Yamphire Gorge was closed to all traffic even then. All documentation said it was not to be accessed. Visits to Wiitenoom Gorge are discouraged.

I went to Karijini NP in 1996 and it was closed then.

There are some old asbestos mines right on the roadside in that gorge. Wouldn't surprise me if it was closed.
