Leaving this weekend to try our luck (weather permitting) along the
Holland Track with the F250. Plan to take a few drives around the Goldfields. Due back at work after the 1 October long weekend. If you're in the area and see us, call us on UHF 40.
Have fun while I'm gone.

Thanks for the feedback Richard. I was hoping the rain hadn't gone so far inland.
Norseman must be the wettest town on the planet; we have met heavy rain there every time. When we came back last April with the caravan, it had been pouring for around 24 hours when we got to
Norseman, and our shortest route, through the Frank Hann NP to
Lake King was very sloshy but we made it through ok.

We would say the same thing with the Nullarbor, every time we cross it, it seems to rain. must be twenty time now..
Norseman to
Hyden was the last day off an exultant trip, and we didn't want to stuff it up, also we were plaining to stop and look at the
granite and woodland trail stops (an other day) anyway have a good trip
Cheers
Richard

Hello Mother, I'm heading off on a 12 week trip which makes yours sound like a weekend away (sorry). I'd give you a call if you had an
HF radio but since you've only got UHF I won't be able to.
