There have been several comments made regarding the frame of the rear compartment window frame developing cracks. This is on a Toyota 100 series LC. I have tried to find previous threads on this subject but without success. My LC has developed the same problem and would like to front the dealer with some back up evidence that this is a manufacturing problem and not an isolated case. Can someone point me in the right direction of previous threads.
Cheers

Same happened to me on the LC100, just took it to my Toyota Dealer where I get it serviced and they just replaced it under warranty, no problems

I have a 2003 lc and both of my frames cracked. The car was still under warranty at the time so toyota replaced both of them - all I had to pay for was to retint the windows. The frame is part of the window so the whole lot needs to be replaced, glass and all and at $1200.00 a side they are not cheap. My truck only had a month left with its warranty so I got them in time. As toyota advised me that it is only cosmetic but i still insisted they replace it.
