maintaining finish on caravan

wondering what to use to maintain factory finish on exterior of van. after market products such as vantec? or just elbow grease

we had ours vantec'ed before we picked it up 2nd van with vantec i find it very easy to clean, they supply the cleaning products ,wram water and there shampoo comes up great each time ,but we didnt get the inside done not cheap but seeems to work ok
ct18 strips any wax or finish off ct 20 not to badand waxes as you go but i prefer the vantec on the van

Read a recent article in a Caravan magazine that said to use lanolin.
