Just got off the throne where, whilst browsing my latest issue of 4WD Monthly, I came upon a neat bit of photo-editing (or whatever they call it), on the ad for King Wheels, page 115.

See if you can spot it.......the prize for the 1st person to pick it is zilch, sorry.......

Roachie,

Is it the front wheel on the Patrol??

It doesn't have a valve stem, just a white dot like the black rim without a tyre on it.

Cheers Kev

It also means that Roachie only buys it for the pics, who else studies an ad to so much detail to make comment on :))

G'day blokes,

Hey Trucky, mate it's ok for you city-based dudes who can hop down to any number of shops where they keep all manner of good 4x4 gear. Lucky is a great example of this.....not only does he have location of all the 4x4 shops permanently plotted in his GPS, but also every Bunnings store ever opened.

But for us poor country cousins, where the nearest thing we have to a good array of aftermarket gear is the local Mobil servo, the mag/s provide a valuable source of material.

Strewth, I'd like to think I'm not stupid enough to fall for all their "product reviews" and go out and buy X brand of tyres just cos they say to do so.

However, the ad's and the reader's rigs are usually worth a glance or 2 for us deprived (or is that "depaived"?) blokes out here in the sticks.

BTW, it wouldn't matter how many or good the 4x4 stores are (or ever become), they could NEVER lure me to live (if you can call it that) anywhere near a city.

Cheers

Roachie
