I'm a relatively new member but have happily slipped into the fun of this site and I just have to congratulate the owners and all the members for giving me a great deal of pleasure.
The
Forum provides some excellent Aussie humour and ribbing.
On our recent trip to
Melbourne and back I bumped into Pesty in
Clare, had a terrific visit with Ruth D in
Birdsville, met Willem and his (and everybody else's) Uncle, and would have met some more Members on the Nullarbor if I wasn't in such a hurry.
I advertised my 80 Series for sale on this site, got a phone call about 4 hours after posting it and that caller has bought it.
I haven't met Doug T but I enjoy his robust input and his websites.
It's so much better than other sites that have Forums.
Well done to everyone involved.

I agree with most of what you have said.
The
forum is what I look at most of the time aswell as looking at all the updates that have been loaded since the last time I logged on.
I haven't sold anything as yet but did receive a phone call about some antennas I had advertised.
Like yourself I have also met with a few members (mainly at Warraweena). I do feel sorry for you having the unfortunate moment of bumping into Pesty in
Clare, bloody Toymotor drivers lol
Keep enjoying it......... I am
Cheers Luke

It's good alright, it keeps me from doing my assignments for Uni. I have to use the computer to research but I always find myself on here instead LOL.
Cheers Kev

GB,
Yeah, it's a distraction alright! I'm supposed to be completing a livestock budget, due last Friday, instead I'm browsing through here.
Saw your Tojo & van in
Birdsville a while back. Was doing a course there, so didn't have too much time to socialise, except at night, at the pub, so didn't catch up with you. Apparently there were a few EO people there at the same time.
Might need to wear an EO tattoo on our foreheads, or something, for indentification. Maybe a secret handshake......?
Hooroo...
