Hi Cruser

Richard may correct me if I'm wrong but most people use these bags to carry rubbish in, I'm not sure if thats what Richard uses his for but thats what we do...

Thanks Richard, slight case of looking but not seeing. Red wine has that affect on me. Haven't looked at the photos yet but will do.

Gee it took me over an hour to look at them all.

Nice work. I like the bags at the back of the troopie.Neale Breakaways look good. I see in one shot the Nullarbor track looking scarcly visible, mustn't have too much traffic.

cheers

Looking for adventure.

No The track from Deakin to Eucla would have been used much, but had track of only a day or two old on them.

the bags you can get from ARB in Perth they work great

Richard

Great photos Richard and thanks for sharing. Nealle Junction looks to be a good camping area. Nealle Breakaways looked truly spectacular. Shame about all the salt though. How the heck did you find those Gnamma holes on the Nullabor Track? Unless they were sign posted you would never of known they were there.

Duncan

Yes Neale Junction would be a very nice camp and I think a lot of other people would think the same so be willing to share..LOL

Its not actually salt I think it is calcium but the water tastes like the sea.

The Gnamma holes are marked on the latest edition of Hema GDT SW and only about 20 feet of the track but you had to be looking for them when past and had to back up, we run OziExplorer and moving maps on a 7" screen on the NavNet system worked really well

Cheers Richard

Richard,

That is one decent sized Goanna!!

I haven't seen one that big for years. The biggest I have seen was a 2.2m long one that took a likeing to the chooks we had. We thought it was a fox but caught the goanna in the chook pen terrorising them.

Cheers Kev

Yes Kev

We still have some mighty big ones over this way, when I worked on the mines they used to come in to camp at night scare the crap out you.

Cheers Richard

Hi Richard

Yes, you were just back before we left. I had marked this thread so i could look up your photos, but now can't work out how to find them on the blog site linked. Can you give me a direct link? Sounds like you had an adventure on a few out of the way routes.

Remember the Wattos who went via the trans continental railway road? They bought fuel at Forrest as they had pre-arranged, and so enjoyed their stay there that they didn't mind the price. I just heard from the again last night - they had been staying in Broome with their daughter for a while then set out on the Kidson - Wapet track, but found it too sandy and they were tending to bog with the Phoenix, so left that one for another time.
