I have a 1999 100 series diesel with 250,000k's on the clock. Got a letter in the mail the other day from Toyota asking me to present the vehicle to the local dealer for a recall, associated with replacing the holding bolts securing the brake disc's to hub's. They say they can loosen off and cause dramas, being brake grab or worse??

That recall has been going on since the start of the year. From past responses on here it takes no more than 2 hours to complete.
Cheers Kev

The grade of the bolt holding rotor to hub was changed due to some of them streching and becoming loose. Worth getting done as they have to repack and adjust front wheel bearings at the same time.

Squizzy,
I think the bearing repack is optional at your expense.
They didn't repack
mine when they upgraded the bolts.
