For the fishing fraternity out there, Howard springs road up to Gunn point is
well worth the effort. Catching mangrove jacks off
the beach yesterday. And Chris and Deneise at leaders
creek fishing base hire boats and supply lock up car storage for those with there own tinny. We wandered up and down the
creek and over to a couple of islands all friday and saturday. Also can poke around the old Gunn Point prison farm, Has got me buggered why it had a 67 bed hospital. must of been a few fights between the 50 odd inmates. lol

I thought you'd be too busy this time of year to go away!... oh
well, 3 days in a row of around 38, there should be quite a convoy heading south and east now. The town will be empty again soon!
Might try a few secret spots this week where everyone else goes!
Cheers Andrew

Unlucky for me but on the 24th at this stage...Brendo is going away for the next month. Taking it in turns. Have heard that as
well about the salmon, for about an hour after the tide turns and heads out. Johnny Birch is usually fairly on the mark so trust his info... Need to be up near the island from what he said and catch them in the channel..
