Hi

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a Jayco Eagle?
Its a 2003 model.
I fitting a battery to it. It looks like there is provision in the existing wiring, i would just like to see what the plans is.

If someone could scan the wiring diagram - it would be great.

Thanx

if it uses the black fronted Setec power supply you can connect the battery dirict to the unit,it automatically changes over from 240v to 12v and charges the battery when on 240v.cheers Paul

And you must not forget in Jayco 12 volt electrical systems, white is earth which means black is positive!

Silly, I know, but that's how they wire 'em.

Yes I know, but sometimes this doesn't seem apparent when you are connecting a black cable to a positive battery terminal, that's all!

It just seems opposite to everything you would normally do!

The web site for Setec is this one. From this page you can download the users manual for the later model, it is similar to the older one.

These units are not an efficient battery charger. They are similar to to the ones described in the article imported rv electrics
