Having decided to hang on to the LG CDMA till the death as all
local reports indicate no better coverage , most worse, I havent paid due attention to the forums opinions on the subject. As my
phone passed beneath the tractor wheel it occurred to me that
this was an error.
I now ask for help from those who have a recommendation to make for a phone suited to fringe reception areas, & is there a way to utilise my existing full in car kit with a new LG or other
phone ?.....oldbaz.

As a previous owner of 2 LG phones i only wish
mine had been run over by a tractor on day one. Long live Nokia FTW.

Don't know much about the equipment you've got Baz, but I've had an LG TU500 Next G and it was attrocious (in terms of range and sound quality, amongst other things).
My newer Nokia 6120 Next G I find comparable to my old nokia cdma (range wise), with better sound quality. It certainly kicks the LG out of the
park.
Other people have had good experiences with the LG next G though.
(one thing which really annoyed me about the LG - it had an ascending ring tone with no way of changing it.)
