Not a technician but reasonably competent in East Brighton. What are your doubts?

Have fitted new Multi tap antenna , having difficulty picking up VKS 737 skeds.
Need to check whether new antenna is trasmitting ok or not.

Would it be possible to make a time for me to call you on the HF to see what happens?

Call sign V3041.

HF is actually in my partners vehicle , his name is Rob.

Hi Kevin, Dan, Tony
Thanks for replies. Any chance one of you could call me to arrange a time and frequency for a test transmission to check my radio? (Tel 0402 248 062 or 9333 6051) I have tried Selcalls and Beacon tests but no luck to date. I've just fitted a new multi tap antenna with the 5 VKS 737 frequencies and want to check that the main ones are receiving / transmitting OK.
Regards
Rob

Left my number with Rob.
HF conditions are woeful at the moment, especially with higher than usual noise levels in the city.
You should be able to hear overseas music stations slightly off frequency on 11612kHz.
Cheers, Tony

Not sure on a sked time yet but will post it. May be short notice & also need to avoid VKS skeds, so 3995kHz or 11612kHz may be best, depends on time.
