Hi all to those who replied re GQ headlight not working,
well I thought that all was
well until this arvo when headlight came on again, so this time pulled switch out again and it was about to melt it was that hot and had a nice little burn mark across 2 terminals, so a quick call to my local Nissan dealer and $129 later I had a new switch and fitted it in no time and now at last all is good.
2nd hand one from the wreckers cost me $110 and lasted about a week, thought a new one would cost a lot more so there you go
Thanks again
Ray

yes strange the way some spare parts are priced.
we had a ba falcon in yesterday with a broken rear wheel brake line.we rang our local bloke who will make hoses for us if needed but he told us to ring ford.
we rang them and they were about $22 each.
when they arived they were hoses fittings clips the whole lot.
how cheap is that.
cheers

When I need parts I make calls in this order
1. dealer
2. Aftermarket guys IE: Repco ect
3. Wreckers
That way I can make an informed choice
Cheers Stefan

Most of the time if something plays up and then it works again, 99% chance it will play up again.
I would still surgest fitting realys.
All electrical gear run on smoke....when the smoke runs out it stops working.
