I have 2 of these (the blue ones); both are 15 amps output.

I wish I'd only have had to pay $85- for them.....usually they are (were?) over $200- each.

If they are the same technology and quality as the ones I have, you certainly won't be disappointed.

I have one mounted permanently in the camper trailer and the other permanently mounted in the cargo box on the Patrol. They both run 24/7 whilst we are here at home (most of the time unfortunately!!!!!;-((.....)

Also worth considering the Ctek chargers if you can afford them and if your battery is 100ah or greater then you could run a 25-30amp charger which would decrease your return-charge times.

The Ctek are the Rolls Royce however from reading the specs on these ones they seem fine.

Perhaps Derek could give us some reliability reports on these as he sells them on www.sidewinder.com.au

Ok so i got my charger,NOT SURE if its any good yet, we will see.Hey do yours have little switches on the side to adjust float voltages and how much DC voltage it puts out.If so can you give me any advice on how to set it up. I want to use one outlet for my accessories like radio, lights nad the other output for charging my Deep Cycle.

Is a deep cycle just a lead acid battery or is is AGM,Flooded cell<GEL.???

Why would you (the seller) say its the same as the blue one then take a single photo of the yellow one half obscured by packaging and the plaster photos of the blue one as the main promoting picture.

You would think if it was new and improved that it would focus on the yellow one. Sounds suss.

OK now that I have gotten that out of the way, I have 2 of the blue ones in 30A - one for the camper and one for the patrol (as Roachie does). The one in the camper is around 3 years old and was sourced through Solarforce (ebay) and although it did fail twice, Solarforce were fantastic in their after sales service. Fist time they swapped the mainboard (in warranty period) and then replaced the whole charger when it was just out of warranty free of charge. That was last year and it has been going strong ever since. The one in the Patrol is only 6 months old but is going strong.

They have handled quite a wide variety of AC sources from cheapy generators to inverter generators to modified sine wave inverter to mains power.

David
