Yes they are just as the brochure says but they do sweat a lot inside and the wedge shape steals quite a bit of room.
But man are they easy.

For what it's worth we have the Maggiolina- big brother to Columbus I think- we have found it just great over the years- waterproof, very comfy, and just wind it down and we're on the road. But, there's a ladder to climb, and at the end of the day it's just a bed- no shelter/cooker/storage etc as in a trailer. But it suits our "less is more" style at present.

Hi Friar,
Just did the same thing, I used to poohoo rooftoops but its different strokes for different blokes.
Just bought a new 70 series (turbo v8 deisel) gxl ute and a 22ft Coromal offroad. Am having a "trademate" made for the ute and the best setup i could come up with when i want to leave the van and keep going was a rooftop on the trademate.
We chose a eezi-awn 'cause it took up only half the roof, you climb down into a room underneath which also serves as a rough weather cookhouse.
It is also quite quick (so they tell me)
Regards...............BIGDOG
