Evening all. On the 9th of September I posted a question about the availability of Len Beadell's books on CD; one member, mike w (WA), said he would do me a copy. It arrived today. (I presume it was from Mike as the packaging didn't actually say).

Mike and I, to my knowledge, have never met and we may never meet. I just wanted to share my appreciation of the generosity of this person with you all. Through this forum and other similar forums dedicated to 4WDing and camping I have met a number of similar people.

Thank you one and all, do not stop these random acts of kindness that is symbolic of many 4wd owners.

This goes hand in hand with Waynes post yesterday where he helped a couple of WA blokes out with some spares and they promptly posted replacements when they got themselves home.

Cheers Kev

And the majority of people who frequent this forum are selfish, inconsiderate road-hogs who drive great big environmentally unfriendly, dangerous totally unnecessary 4wd vehicles and bully other road users all the time.

Did I cover it all?

I'd rather hang with just about anybody who frequents this forum than with just about anybody from......lets say the...pedestrian council.

Good Work to those concerned - and very appropriate on "International Talk Like a PIRATE Day" - though maybe it was more behaving like a pirate than talking like one - LOL

Cheers

I have made my home open to a number of EO visitors that I knew only through posts on the forum and have never regretted it.

Likewise Coops, nobody as yet from EO but the other forum I frequent I have met a number of Eastern States members and have shared a good bit of WA hospitality with them.
