The Trader Section is great. 8,491
views at my old (crapy) prado 6" steel rims and only one call but ... no sale (or give away).
I would have to admit that they (the 6" rims) must be crap and it's time for a trip to the dump.
It's even a hard garbage collection in my street this weekend and they specifically exclude "tyres and rims". Talk about not being loved!.
I don't think I will extend the add in the Trader.
Thanks all for looking. cheers Anthony

Hi Anthony,
as a suggestion, work out how much it would cost you to take them to
the tip inc running costs and offer them as:
Will pay you to take: prado 6" steel rims
That way you will save time atleast.
Cheers
Chris

Be clever! Put them on the verge with a
sign; "For Sale $120 or near offer". They will disappear before breakfast!

I don't know what I was thinking .... you are 100% correct.
If I leave anything on the nature strip and turn my back long enough ... someone will grab it.
That's it ... first thing ... I'II dump the the rims out the front .... and they will all be history.
Thanks Davoe, it's good to see someone is thinking clearly.

Hi all
I put the rims out the front (minus the prado - I didn't really take Member No1's advice) at about 5pm today, had a look at 6:30pm ... gone.
Note to self ... never
park the 4by on the nature strip.

Look at the fun you had.
Just hope they fit the car they got them? for or they might come back and throw them through your front window?
So it still might cost you.
Cheers

Might pay to wear a crash helmet for a couple of weeks in the house, just incase.
