Hi Andre'e
As a general rule dual axle caravans are not the easiest thing to manhandle into place.
There are a number of different set-ups commercially available, including a dual wheel jockey wheel set-up, a number of ratchet handle drive units of similar principle and an electrically propelled gadget which your tow coupling fits onto and you use it to push or pull your van into position.
From what I have read/heard/observed with the ratchet and powered units the limiting factor with the lack of friction/grip.
ie under anything less than ideal conditions they are not all that effective.
Others may have other opinions on their effectiveness.
Without knowing what you are using as a tow vehicle, it may be possible to mount an easily removable tow ball on your front bumper/bullbar and then push the van into place that way.
These Tow hitches are usually set up so that you can see straight down the side of the van from the drivers
seat..
One other thing, the only way to be confident and competent in manouvering a caravan is Practise, practise, practise.
Sorry it's so long but hope it's of assistance.
Cheers
Disco

THESE ONES...THESE ONES...don't you really mean these, or that, or those. These is plural. 'Ones' is a 'made up word' and it is ridiculous to use it in the conetext THESE ONES.

Conetext?? Conetext is a made up word. Although on the 'Unexplained mysteries '
forum it has been used.
Is it a singular Cone or multiple Text ? Now I no why english is the hardest language in the world (just short of the DNA script).

Gooday,
You don't say what you are trying to manouvre it for? is it to hitch to the vehicle, to push it into place after unhitching or WHAT!?.
There are a couple of aids available for hitching to your vehicle, one is a "Couplemate" which you can attach just in front of the ball, this will guide the coupling over the ball and stop damaging your vehicle, the other is a Magneticaly Mounted Mirror on the caravan draw bar so you can view your alignment of ball and hitch when you are about 1 foot (300mm) away. If you are interested in the mirror, it is terrific, please Email me direct for information.
Trust this helps.
Cheers,

If the problem is getting the van into a tight spot consider getting a hitch point mounted on the front of the vehicle. Many people find it easier when they are looking straight ahead and have a good view.
