I'd be interested to find out peoples opinions also. Was planning to get this program as I'd been told that it is a bit easier to use than Ozi (which I have but find difficult being a "technically challenged" individual) Don't think it has many of the features that Ozi does but as a set and go type program, it's much more user friendly.

Gob & Denny

I've recently purchased the product. The guys from TackRanger are located in Melbourne. Trevor spent an hour and a half installing the software on my laptop and providing advice (at no extra cost). great service.

The product has two primary mapping systems:

1. NATMAP Premium
2. UBD City streets

As with all GPS mapping systems you need to spend a bit of time getting use to the technology (particularly if your an old Dill like me).

Their Manual runs to 163 pages. But like all products you will only use a fraction of the functions. Hope this helps.

Kim

Their in Eltham. Look up the telephone number in the White Pages under "Advantech Design". From memory it's (03) 94394242, but I could be wrong.

They operate as a HBB business, but have clients such as VicRoads and other major clients.

If you live in Victoria, it's worth the visit to get the software installed on your Laptop.

I have been using Trackranger for a number of years now and have upgraded as new versions were released. I have found it easy to use and have been recording our trips and placing photos at waypoints. I have my system currently out sitting on the dinning room table using it as a second home PC, waiting for our new Cruiser but it worked great in our Patrol and will put into the Cruiser as soon as I have a spare day to install it.
