Can anyone tell me how many megapixels is the camera on this phone? Wondering whether to take up the latest Telstra offer to get this NextG phone for $0 on a 24 mth $20 plan with the no charges for the first 10 months. Call charges then 49c/30min and the daily 1hr free call slot. Seems ok but I need a decent camera on the phone so hoping for 2 megapixel. Funny the phones on the higher plans are usually 1.3 megapixels but have other features.

Hi Michelle.
Just brought one from Telstra on $30 plan with one hour free call spot.According to Samsung web site it gives colour screen as 128 x 160 pixels, doesn't mention any megapixals.Have only used the camera once and gives quite a good picture.Hope this helps.
cheers Eric

Hi Michelle,
I'll answer for you!
Cant help you on that phone but recently did all the Homework and got 3 of these - Nokia 6234 great Next G Phone you can buy outright for $199. 2 Megapixel camera excellent quality video and can take 2 gigabyte micro sd card and are a radio and MP3 player (brilliant external speaker to boot) they are
clearing them because they dont have a video conferencing camera on the front side of the Phone.
Oh and by the way I have no affiliations with Nokia

I recently smashed my phone bill by putting a gsm pre paid sim into my next g phone and setting it up with 5 other telstra freinds
now for $30 a month i talk for free to those 5 numbers any time for any lenth of time
sure beats paying sat phone prices for phone calls
