Looking for advice on the correct way to enter the Latitude and Longitude into my GPS.
For a reading of 22 06 20 S and 149 31 35 E is there a special way to enter this using decimal points or degree signs.
Any advice would be appreciated. Alan

In the Preferences area tap the Set Units icon on the fourth screen. Run through the options until you get to the "How should Lat and Long be displayed" and set Seconds (d,m,s)
Then when tapping lat/long while browsing the map or navigating you enter the lat first as S 22 (Degree symbol) 06' 20 and repeat for Long, E 149 (Deg Symbol) 31' 35 and it will work. The letters and symbols are available on the on screen keyboard that TomTom provides.

Peter,
Many thanks for your quick reply. I went through the process and it worked, no probs.
I have been trying to figure this out for a while. checked the manual, checked their web site. Should have come here in the first place.
Thanks once again. Alan
