Is it possable to convert this truck to RWD on most times, and selecting 4WD on demand.
Thanks

I'm a bit confused by your question. I have a 2003 Mits. Challenger. As far as I know they are all RWD, with ability to select high 4WD while travelling up to 100kmh, or stop to select low 4WD.

Maybe you have heard that with 2wd mode selected that one front drive shaft is still turning, since engaging 2wd disconnects the front prop shaft and one drive shaft.
Yes, you can put in manual locking front hubs, but if you do you loose the ability to shift to 4wd on the fly. Apologies, obvious I know, but some would miss the point.

John,
I was thinking along the same lines, that he wants to convert from Auto hubs to manual hubs which is possible.
Cheers Kev

Thank you very much for your help.
As this truck spends most of its life on the hard top, we do not need constant AWD; but could use the fuel savings.
Really appreciate your interest guys.
Regards

The Challenger is NOT a constant 4WD. It's a part time 4WD, which means it's normally running in 2WD mode when on the black stuff.
