Any suggestions as to which company to use to take a 30-40kg parcel
Bundaberg-Tasmania at a reasonable price. The only quote I have been able to get is in excess of $150.00 which will double the initial cost of the item.
Cheers

Drink it before you leave. I reckon 40kgs of Bundy and you'lll save on airfare for yourself ..you'll be able to fly to Tassie.

If you can break it into 2 x 20 kg parcels, try bus freight. $34 depot to depot virtually anywhere in Oz.

Ask around at a few of the local companies that you think may send freight down there. Businesses usually get good freight rates and probably wouldn't mind sending it for you if you pay their costs. That sort of parcel would cost me about $50.00 and I wouldn't mind doing it for someone.
Charlie.

Have you tried Australia Post? They lodge through the air- freight companies, especially for overnight freight. Thy also own Australian Air Express.
