Hi all

Considering taking the family to In-Skip point for a few days camping next week.

Has anyone been recently and can provide advice on site availability and suggestions for a suitable spot for a large tent?

Thanks

Lockey

Inskip, not In-Skip. I'm sure if you typed it into Google it would give you a few links

You should be fine after the yard apes go back to school.

Haven't been there for a few years, but you will find that's it's probably pretty packed. Generally alot more people closer to the toilets. Closer to the point it thins out a bit. I would give the ranger a call and ask how many they have on the books and ask them the same question.

Cheers.

I prefer Freshwater at Cooloola. Better sites and faciltities. Not too far to drive around to Rainbow for some calm water.

Thanks everyone

I'll call the ranger before deciding.

The thought of camping in a tent city is not very appealing. Might leave it until everyone heads back to school.
