When using a Garmin 510 navigator, putting in an address, but not actually going to the destination (because you've decided to head off to something else without inputing this new destination) the final flag seems to hang round on the map screen even if you go to the 'recently found' menu and clear evrything. i.e. you can't get rid of it. How can you clear the map screen of any destination you didn't actually go to. Isn't always a problem but when it happens it totally confuses my partner and she rings up ballistic

G'day Wigger on my Quest if i don't want to continue to the destination it will keep telling me to do a u turn till i get there so i now go to the menu & find the stop navigation button & it stops navigating.
Cheers Bob.

Tks Bob,
510 has a stop function on it so I will get hold of it and try it out.
This is irrelevant but I found when travelling north over the Tomewin Rd from M'bah to G/coast that the City Nav software shows the road as petering out up by the border
gate. From
Boulia, to Tobermory roadhouse it doesn't show the Plenty Hwy
running west from Glen Ormiston to the border. On 54 west, from
Roma to
Charleville the nav wants to send you North from
Morven to Auguthella and then south back down to
Charleville, rather than going directly west from
Morven to
Charleville. What does the Quest software show?
Are these the great 'life'questions that remain unanswered.
Is there a Dog ?
