Just Got Back

Hi All,

Just got back from 2 weeks on Double Island Beach. Stayed at the Beachfront Caravan Park. It's now under new management and a giant improvement over the way it was run in the past. New amenities block fit out as well.

After the recent floods in the Noosa area the beach was nice and hard, and all 3 cuttings were the best I've ever seen them.

Loaded up on "elbow slapper" whiting in the first week, then found some nice big dart to play with on the second week. Fish for lunch every day, beautiful.

Didn't see a tailor get caught, but these days I think you need to fish for them at night.

The best part was watching my 11year old daughter pull her first sand worm. By the end of the fortnight she was DEADLY!! and catching nearly as many as her mum.

So it's clean up ,the vehicle and trailer tomorrow then back to the grind on Monday.
