With all due respect for Nudie, he is a FOOTBALL follower and probably couldn't give a rat's clacker as to who wins the Tigby game.
Me I'd rather go to the dentist than watch Tigby.
Let's be serious what is the sense in a game where you try to move the ball forward by throwing it backwards.

Hairy
I second that. I moved to the NT to get further away from the Mexicans and they still come up here.
The Vic number plates say "The place to be" but they obviously can't read because they don't stay there.

No, No, No.
Footy, that is FOOTball is where you use your foot to propel the ball forward. Foot hits ball, ball goes forward, ipso facto, Football.
As opposed to throwing it backwards in a futile attempt to move it forward. Or gathering in a group sniffing each other's clackers.Or poking your finger into one of the opponents dates.

Oh, you mean SOCCER; must require the use of a sock :-)))
"As opposed to throwing it backwards in a futile attempt to move forward." - That means it is a game of tactics, like chess. lol
"... sniffing each others clackers." -
Well, they have team names like 'Bulldogs.
"....dates." - Nothing wrong with a sticky date pudding LOL

Funny thing was that their coach didn't have such a big voice after the match........... it was more of a tremble.

I thought Port were pathetic. You only play as good as the opposition allow and
Geelong were awesome.
Having said that I disagree with you comment. Mark Williams went up to the
Geelong players and officials on the ground immediately after the game and congratulated them. I hate Port but I admired his sportsmanship.
I did not see him tremble. He acted with dignity.
I can understand why you have got so carried away with the win. It is unusual for a Mexican team to win a Grand Final.

I heard the term "All Australian" by some commentators. Can somebody explain what that means? I consider a person to be "All Australian" when they have played internationally????????

LOL dion't you know. They play some Irish pick up squad in a bastardized version of two games and then have the temerity to call it an international. Ponces in tight shorts and bog Irish, what a combination.

All Australian means just that ..... a member of the team picked by a panel of 'experts' from best players from all the AFL teams in Australia.

One of the oldest 'football' codes on earth is healthy and strong, won by one of the oldest football clubs on earth...
I usually can't stand the Cats, but Dad barracked for them all his life. He went a couple of months ago, an I enjoyed barracking for them just this once.
Next year... GO THE SAINTERS!
