Is it possible to use a primary fuel filter on a Common Rail Diesel ??

What do you mean by a'primary' filter. The OE filter supplied with
an engine would be regarded by many as 'primary'.

Look at 49844. Also 50111 where poster reckons that Nissan said
that fitting additional filter would void warranty. Don't think so

Looked up threads #49884 & 50111,really doesnt say much.Iam off to the Hyundai dealer in
Rockhampton to see if I can get something in writing saying that another filter mounted before the original filter will do damage and if so WHAT Damage??Will post the outcome.Cheers All
